QUOTE & DELIVERY · BUYING CHECKLIST
Used Audio Equipment Export Quote Checklist
Compare equipment quotations on the same quantity, configuration, packing and delivery responsibilities. A headline price alone is not the total purchase.
Request an itemised offer for the identified units, then separate equipment, accessories, packing, freight and destination costs. Agree the delivery basis, inspection acceptance, payment recipient and remedy in writing; eligibility and final charges remain shipment-specific.
1. Define exactly what is being quoted
State the model and actual unit or batch reference, quantity, condition disclosures, configuration, included and excluded items, currency, quotation date and validity. Separate one unit, a pair and a complete package.
| Quote field | Buyer should request | Details to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Actual equipment | Unit / batch identification and dated available quantity | To confirm |
| Included configuration | Cards, racks, accessories, cases and exclusions | To confirm |
| Equipment price | Quoted currency, unit / set basis and validity | Unpublished |
| Inspection and acceptance | Scope, evidence and mismatch process | To confirm |
| Payment / remedy | Contracting party, payee and written responsibilities | To confirm |
2. Obtain actual packing and dispatch details
Ask for the actual dispatch location, packed dimensions and weight, handling method and packing scope. Factory bare-unit weight is not a freight measurement. The Huizhou business contact address does not identify the dispatch warehouse.
- Identify whether the quote covers a case, pallet, crate or other agreed protection.
- Ask which party arranges transit cover and handles a damage claim.
- Confirm the packing and freight arrangement for the specific shipment; no blanket worldwide-shipping promise is made.
3. Separate delivery responsibilities and destination checks
Ask the seller and forwarder to state the agreed delivery basis and named place, which charges are included, and who handles export, import, taxes and local delivery. Use a qualified broker or importer for the actual destination; this guide does not establish used-equipment eligibility or tax treatment.
4. Compare quotations on an equivalent basis
Compare the same unit quantity, configuration, disclosures, accessories, packing and delivery responsibilities. If one item is unknown, request clarification rather than treating it as included or cost-free.
| Often confused | Clarify before comparing |
|---|---|
| Console-only vs complete system | Identify every rack, card, cable and case. |
| Per unit vs pair / batch | State the exact quoted quantity and price basis. |
| Equipment price vs landed cost | Separate freight, destination charges and taxes; obtain actual estimates. |
| Tested vs pictured | Request the agreed scope and unit-linked report. |
| Warranty vs assumption | Record the provider, covered faults, duration, exclusions and return / repair cost responsibilities. |
5. Resolve open points before payment
Confirm the contracting party and payment recipient, current unit availability, agreed evidence and acceptance, quotation validity and written defect / transit responsibilities. Do not use a model page or browser-local draft confirmation as a reservation, contract or verified buyer transaction.
